Rust Inhibitor - Corrosion Block

If you want to stop rust, Corrosion Block is the premier rust inhibitor. The product incorporates a clean fluid that actively protects metal using advanced polar bonding chemistry.  Synthetic additives in Corrosion Block completely penetrate corrosion cells by replacing the water which is then allowed to evaporate.  Corrosion Block’s hydrophobic film remains to further protect the metal and stop rust by acting like an “off switch” for corrosion. Regular Corrosion Block treatment keeps money in your pocket and everything running smooth as silk.   When thinking about corrosion prevention, being proactive about corrosion control is the best way to protect your investments.

Key Benefits:

  • Completely safe to electronics
  • Lasts for up to 18 months
  • Safe to plastics and rubbers
  • Non-greasy

Corrosion Block’s non-toxic, non-greasy atmospheric barrier protects metal surfaces for up to 18 months. It can be sprayed, brushed, or wiped onto electronics, batteries, circuit panels, fishing gear, and inboard and outboards. This rust inhibitor is also compatible with plastics or rubber components found on your equipment. When applied, the aerosol itself produces a foam that tends to spread evenly and reliably without any product back splash. Don’t forget, you don’t need to over apply Corrosion Block. A little product goes a long way. The best way to apply the product is to allow an even application over the surface. This allows the product to penetrate threads and cracks. Its creeping action fills in the voids in a short amount of time.

It not only protects from corrosion in the future, but also stops existing corrosion

Corrosion Block’s continued effort in product research and development has produced a superior product line that has a proven track record for a consistent level of quality. When applied properly, this rust inhibitor has the capability of repairing or restoring thousands of dollars worth of your investments.  That’s why being “pro active” about corrosion control is the best way to protect your investments. Your best bet is to stop corrosion before it starts.

How it works

The rust conversion process begins when Corrosion Block attacks the corrosion cell by penetrating the metal to its base layer. Metals for the most part are semi porous, and this allows the moisture to settle in, which begins the corrosion cycle. Add oxygen to the mix and now you have a dielectric cell. This is basically a “mini battery”. Corrosion Block enters the cell and presses the water out, seals the cell, and prevents future moisture from settling in. Corrosion Block as a rust inhibitor spray attacks the corrosion cell by penetrating the metal to its base layer.

Common Uses

Used residentially as well as commercially, it is a must for many commercial products, and is especially successful in use with commercial RTUs (Roof Top Units). The most common problem here is when moisture attacks the aluminum condenser fins on AC units. This is a huge problem especially in the coastal states due to salt water mist infusion. Without a properly treated condenser, unit efficiency drops dramatically and therefore repair costs skyrocket. As always, it’s best to treat all your equipment from the first day of use. This prevents early rust and oxidation from forming, and thus eliminates any future pitting of the metals.

We are continually answering this commonly asked question: Where can I use Corrosion Block around the home? There are so many applications for this rust protection spray in the home, that we will donate another blog to that question alone.

For now, try Corrosion Block on your door locks, hinges, zippers, TV antenna and cable connections, air conditioner condenser fins, and window slides.
